A big thing happened this weekend. After 7 years (maybe more, memory is fuzzy), my first project, the first bike i ever bought, has finally been reunited with an engine. It is a 78 cb750k i got from a guy in NH for $600. Seeing I didn't know shit at the time, i definitely over paid for it, as it was in rougher shape than i thought. It started as a knowledge issue, then became a money issue (wanted to do it up and be a forever bike), and is now a time issue (2 little kids), but things are still happening slowly. The engine is an 811 (Yoshi pistons) with a stage 1 MRieck head, plus all other typical upgrades, HD studs, HD chain, new seals, bearings etc. I hope to have it running this year. Still need to do the wiring (m-unit), finish the seat, figure out the brakes (want to upgrade them), paint it, plus all the little piddly things here and there. When i brought it home How it sits now

Very cool Treeve. One day we'll all take a ride on our CB750s, I still believe that.
